Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is beautiful and is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. She moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando where she performed numerous acting roles. The roles included local independent films and international commercials. Despite her small part-time roles, she began to realize her love for acting. In 2001, she emigrated in New York where her first role was on All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she had minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in 2004 on the brief comedy The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to star alongside some top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The year 2006 was the time she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Her character then flocked to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she won one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show was removed. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her ethnicity is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano began her professional career at the age of seven, when her babysitter brought her along to an acting audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. Milano was chosen among only four girls. Milano made appearances in adverts on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical version of Jane Eyre.
